• Scientific Name: Helichrysum arenarium (L.) Moench. Everlasting Flowers are compact golden-yellow dried flower heads with a papery texture and naturally preserved colour.
• Also Known As: Sandy Everlasting, Everlasting Flower, Immortelle, Yellow Everlasting, Dwarf Everlast, Golden Everlasting and Sandy Immortelle.
• What It’s Known For: A traditional European botanical infusion ingredient with an aromatic, herbaceous, gently spicy and slightly bitter character. Commonly prepared alone or blended with chamomile, mint, lemon balm, lemongrass, ginger or citrus peel.
• How to Use: Add approximately 1–2 teaspoons to 200–250 ml of hot water. Cover and steep for 5–10 minutes, then strain. Begin with a smaller quantity when a lighter flavour is preferred.
