Orange Blossom Petals (Zahr Al Naranj) | Citrus aurantium
• Scientific Name: Citrus × aurantium L. Orange Blossom Petals are delicately dried citrus flower petals with natural cream, pale beige and light golden-brown colouring.
• Also Known As: Orange Blossom Petals, Orange Flower Petals, Bitter Orange Flowers, Seville Orange Blossoms, Zahr Al Naranj, Zahr Al Burtuqal, Bahar Narenj, Azahar and Fleur d’Oranger.
• What It’s Known For: Fragrant citrus blossoms with sweet floral, honeyed, lightly citrusy, green and gently bitter notes. Commonly used in flower infusions, tea blends, desserts, syrups, cakes, cookies, rice puddings, beverages and decorative botanical preparations.
• How to Use: Add approximately 1–2 teaspoons to 200–250 ml of hot water. Cover and steep for 5–7 minutes, then strain. Use a smaller quantity when adding to tea blends, syrups, baking mixtures or desserts because the flavour can become bitter when used heavily.
• Awafi Mill Quality: Carefully selected Orange Blossom Petals packed without added colours, artificial flavours, fillers or preservatives. Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from moisture, excessive heat, strong odours and direct sunlight.
