Blooming Flower Tea | Gong Yi Hua Cha | Artisan Craft Tea Balls
• Scientific Name: Camellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze. Blooming Flower Tea is made by arranging and hand-tying tea leaves around one or more dried flowers to create a compact artisan tea ball. Camellia sinensis is the accepted botanical species used to produce green, white, black and oolong teas.
• Also Known As: Flowering Tea, Blooming Tea Balls, Flower Tea Balls, Artisan Tea, Hand-Tied Tea, Display Tea, Gong Yi Hua Cha, Gongyi Huacha and Chinese Flowering Tea.
• Artisan Hand-Tied Design: Each compact tea ball is crafted to open gradually in hot water, revealing the enclosed flower while the surrounding tea leaves unfurl into a decorative display.
• Green Tea and Floral Character: Produces a smooth, lightly vegetal and gently floral infusion with mild natural sweetness and soft tea-like astringency. The exact flavour and flower design may vary according to the tea leaves and flowers used.
• Beautiful Glass-Teapot Presentation: Best prepared in a transparent, heat-resistant glass teapot or large glass cup, allowing the full flowering effect to be viewed while the leaves and flowers open.
• How to Prepare: Place one tea ball in approximately 400–500ml of water heated to around 80–90°C. Steep for 3–5 minutes or until fully opened. The tea ball can generally be infused another two or three times, with slightly longer brewing for later infusions.
• Naturally Contains Caffeine: This product contains true tea leaves from Camellia sinensis and therefore naturally contains caffeine. The amount varies according to the tea quantity, water temperature and brewing time.
• AWAFI MILL Quality: Carefully selected artisan flowering tea balls packed for hot tea preparation, glass-teapot presentation, afternoon tea, hospitality serving, gifting and special occasions.
