What It’s Known For: A traditional botanical fruit material with an intensely astringent, bitter, earthy and mildly sour character. Halela Zard traditionally refers to the dried pericarp of mature Terminalia chebula fruit used in recognised botanical preparations.

How to Use: Carefully crack the whole dried fruit, remove the hard central stone and grind or coarsely crush the dried outer fruit material when required. Use according to the selected established botanical formulation; it is not normally eaten as a dried-fruit snack.

Awafi Mill Quality: Carefully selected Dried Yellow Haritaki Fruits packed for their characteristic yellow-brown appearance, prominent ridges and traditional botanical use. Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from moisture, heat, direct sunlight and strong odours.
