• Scientific Name: Rosa × damascena Herrm. Rose Petal Powder is made from finely ground dried Damask Rose petals and has a natural pink, mauve, purple-pink or reddish-brown colour.
• Also Known As: Damask Rose Petal Powder, Gulab Powder, Gulab Patti Powder, Ward Powder, Rose Flower Powder, Gol Mohammadi Powder and Rosa damascena Powder.
• What It’s Known For: An aromatic flower powder with sweet floral, rose-like, lightly fruity, honeyed, gently green and mildly astringent notes. Commonly used in rose milk, tea blends, lassi, smoothies, yogurt, desserts, baking, syrups, chocolate, face packs, bath blends and soap preparations.
• How to Use: Mix approximately ¼–½ teaspoon into 200–250 ml of hot water, milk or another selected drink. Stir thoroughly and strain if preferred. For food recipes and botanical preparations, add gradually because rose has a concentrated floral character.
