Scientific Name: Salvia officinalis L. Sage Leaves are aromatic grey-green leaves with a soft, slightly fuzzy texture and a strong savoury fragrance.

Also Known As: Sage Leaves, Common Sage, Garden Sage, Culinary Sage, Maramiyah, Miramiyah, and Salvia Leaves.

What It’s Known For: A bold culinary herb with earthy, woody, peppery, pine-like, lightly minty, and mildly bitter notes. Commonly used in stuffing, poultry, meat dishes, soups, sauces, vegetables, breads, butter, and seasoning blends.

How to Use: Gently crumble before use and add in small quantities to soups, sauces, marinades, roasted dishes, stuffing, bread, or herb butter. Add gradually because sage has a concentrated flavour.
