What it is: Dried fruit shells rich in natural saponins that foam in water and act like a plant-based surfactant.

How it’s used (laundry): Put 5–8 shells in a small cloth/muslin bag and place in the washing machine drum; reuse shells 2–3 washes (less foam in cold water).

How it’s used (liquid): Soak overnight or simmer 10–15 min, then strain to make a multi-use cleaning liquid (laundry pre-soak, dishes, surfaces).
