• Scientific Name: Chrysanthemum × morifolium (Ramat.) Hemsl. Tribute Chrysanthemum consists of dried open flower heads with cream-white to pale-yellow petals and natural green flower bases.
• Also Known As: Gong Ju, Gongju, Tribute Chrysanthemum, White Chrysanthemum Flowers, Chinese Chrysanthemum Flowers, Ju Hua and Huangshan Gongju.
• What It’s Known For: An aromatic flower-infusion ingredient with floral, gently sweet, grassy, honey-like, lightly herbal and mildly bitter notes. Commonly prepared alone or blended with goji berries, green tea, white tea, jasmine, honeysuckle, mint, ginger and citrus peel.
• How to Use: Add approximately 3–5 whole flowers or 1–2 teaspoons to 200–250 ml of hot water. Cover and steep for 3–5 minutes, then strain. The flowers may be re-steeped with fresh hot water.
