  • Also known as: Gongju, Imperial Chrysanthemum, Yellow Mountain Tribute, Huangshan Gongju, White Chrysanthemum.

  • Scientific name: Chrysanthemum morifolium (A specific high-altitude cultivar grown in the mist-covered Huangshan mountains of China).

  • What it’s known for: Its "Pristine Purity." Unlike the common yellow varieties, Tribute Chrysanthemum is famous for its snowy-white petals and vibrant golden center. It offers a cleaner, more elegant, and slightly "cooler" flavor profile with subtle notes of honey and wild herbs.

  • How to prepare: Steep 4–6 whole flowers in hot water (90°C–95°C) for 3–5 minutes. The flowers will elegantly unfurl in the water. For a traditional "Scholar’s Blend," add 2–3 dried Goji berries to balance the cooling floral notes with a touch of fruity sweetness.

  • How it’s used: A premier "Clarifying" herbal tea; a staple for those seeking "Eye-Brightening" and "Mental Calm" infusions; a favorite for cooling the body during hot seasons; and a sophisticated, floating garnish for clear glass teaware and artisanal botanical elixirs.
