Global uses: Roast & grind into carob powder (a naturally sweet cocoa-style ingredient), or use pod pieces in cakes/cookies/desserts.
Syrup & drinks: Simmer pods to make carob syrup/molasses (Kharrub/Debs al-Kharrub) and traditional cold drinks in the Levant/Egypt, especially during Ramadan.
Tea/infusion: Break into pieces and simmer/steep to make a naturally sweet carob tea; strain before serving.
